What types of concrete pumps are available?

1.Ground line hydraulic pumps

Use multiple connected pipes and hoses to transport concrete from the hopper (an attachment that makes the transport of concrete easy and controllable) to the desired location. The above ground line hydraulic pump can move up to 1m³ of concrete per minute and can be extended to a distance of approximately 150m to reach the pour site. This makes pouring concrete in awkward areas easy as the pipes and hoses can be moved over obstacles over obstructions.

2.Moving boom pumps

With hydraulic rods - lift, elevate and place concrete pipes into difficult dumping areas. Moving arm pumps offer greater flexibility than above ground pipe line hydraulic pumps as they can travel over the smallest and lowest areas to ensure effective and mess free tipping.

3.Truck-mounted pumps

Mounted on the chassis of a concrete transfer truck - are a delivery service and are used where there is an easily accessible dumping site, so the driver can dump and leave when the job is done.

What are the advantages of a concrete pump?

Faster, more efficient deliveries

Makes dumping in hard-to-reach places easier

Saves time and money

Fewer spills - accurate pouring

Pays for what you use - metered deliveries

How do concrete pumps work?

Concrete pumps are used to transport liquid concrete from one location to another and to transport wet concrete from the mixer to the pouring site. Once the truck reaches its destination, the concrete will be released into the hopper, which will remain rotating to keep it fresh. This movement helps the concrete to flow into the pump's twin cylinders and propel the mixture through the pipes. One cylinder pushes the concrete in and the other pumps it out of the hopper and keeps the pressure up to maintain a constant flow.

How far can a concrete pump hose reach?

There are many different kinds of Concrete Pump Spare Parts, about the rubber hose , one mobile pump usually have one piece 3m hose, this concrete pump flexible hose pipe is used on the mobile pump , stationary pump and Mortar pump, to transfer the concrete mud in 360D degree, to make the concrete pumping work nore easily. About the rubber hose material advantage as below:

(1) Inner wall rubber material: Polyurethane and butyl rubber are used as main raw materials, and special reinforcing agents are used to make rubber compound. finished product. The glue in the black transparent state, has high wear resistance, high toughness, high voltage, smooth, friction resistant concrete, inner adhesive layer can bear the pressure of the conveying medium and protect the steel wire from being eroded.

(2) Strengthen layer : 4 layers of wire wound, the use of copper-plated hose for steel wire weaving, working pressure is 3-4 times the ordinary hose, with a high degree of pressure, resistance to flexion superior performance characteristics, from the enhanced role

(3) Outer layer rubber :SBR / NR compound, anti-aging, wear resistence.

Does a concrete pump make a mess?

Concrete pumping is a quick and clean method for transporting large and small quantities of concrete. Unlike the unicycle method, interconnected pipes pushing concrete from A to B means no spillage.

Can you pump concrete in all weather conditions?

Concrete can be pumped in wind, rain, snow and sunshine. To ensure safe transport in all weather conditions, we simply take the right precautions to ensure you get the best possible pour.
